What You Should Know

Do you deliver to my area?

Our Standard Delivery Area is within 30 miles of our kitchen in Fullerton, CA.  We also offer delivery to select gyms in the San Diego.  

Please call or email to inquire about making special delivery arrangements for areas outside our Standard Delivery Area.

We will do our best to accommodate your custom delivery needs.

What is the difference between Keto, Lean, PaleoZone and Zone?

Keto: For those looking to adhere to a Ketogenic diet

Lean: For those looking to get lean and eath healthy

PaleoZone: The perfect mix of Paleo and Zone (no starch, no sugar)

Zone: Everything healthy, but with healthy starches added

What is the difference between Natural and Organic meals?

Organic food refers to food items that are produced, manufactured and handled using organic means as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) under its Organic Food Products Act.

Natural food on the other hand generally refers to food items which are not altered chemically or synthesized in any form. Both are derived from plants and animals however a natural food item is not necessarily organic and vice versa.

At PaleoZone all of our meals use proteins and vegetables that are either be Natural or Certified Organic depending on our client's selection.

Are Paleo Zone Meals and Snacks Gluten Free?

All Paleo Zone Meals and Snacks are Gluten Free -- as well as Grain Free, Bean Free, Dairy Free, and free of Refined Sugar.

How much do meals cost?

Our pricing model is based on 3 factors. Meal of the day, protein weight per meal and food grade. Whether you are on the Lean, Paleo or PaleoZone program makes no difference.

Our Lean program is focused on those looking to get lean. Our PaleoZone program provides the perfect mix of Paleo on Zone (no starch, no sugar). Finally, our Zone program offers everything healthy, but with starches added.

Breakfast portions are reasonable. Lunches and Dinners are generous and sized exactly the same.

What if I have a food allergy?

We take food allergies seriously. When ordering online, please add a Note to the order form about your food allergy and/or allergies so that we can make certain that we can appropriately accommodate your needs.

What if I don’t like certain foods?

PaleoZone works closely with each of our clients to make sure they have meals and snacks they thoroughly enjoy!

When ordering online, please add any special requests into the Notes field and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

When can I expect to receive my first order?

Place your order by midnight on Friday, and your deliveries begin the following Tuesday.  Place your order by midnight on Tuesday for Friday delivery.

    • Orange County, Los Angeles and San Diego County
      (meals delivered between 1-6pm)
      • Tuesday: deliver meals for Wed, Thurs & Fri
      • Friday: deliver meals for Sat, Sun, Mon & Tue

When you order meals 3-4 days per week.  You'll receive your meals on Tuesday.

When you order 5 or more meals per week, you'll receive meals on Tuesday and Friday.

What time of day are deliveries made?

Our drivers start delivering meals as early as 5AM and as late as 4PM.  We often make our deliveries at gyms first. Depending on your location, traffic patterns and other factors your deliveries time may vary.  You may sign up to be notified via email or text when your delivery occurs by using our notification system.  To do so, click on the bell next to your meal program in my account.

Do I need to worry about being home or sleeping when my meals are delivered?

No, the meals and snacks will be placed in a refrigerator at your gym or the meals and snacks are delivered to your home or office in high quality insulated cooler bags to keep them fresh.

Also, our delivery team is very courteous, and will be sure to be as quiet as possible when they drop your bag(s) off outside your front door.

What do I do with the cooler bags / containers that my meals & snacks come in?

Please leave the empty cooler bag outside your door, and our delivery team will collect it the following delivery day.

While we cannot take back the plastic food containers due to health regulations, we do encourage you to reuse and recycle!

What is the best way to heat my meals?

We get this question a lot.

There are three common ways people heat their meals; microwave, in the oven, or stove top.

If heating in a microwave:

You can heat your meals in the packaging provided, which is BPA-free, and vented to release any steam.  Most people start by heating at full power for 90 seconds and then checking the warmness.  If your meal is not warm enough to your liking, you might stir the ingredients and then cook for another 30 seconds.  That should be enough.  Breakfasts can cook faster.

If heating in the oven:

Some of our clients prefer to heat their meals in the oven.  If you'd like to heat your meals in the oven, please preheat your oven to 350˚, remove the ingredients from the packaging and place your meal in a suitable cooking dish.  Cook for 5-10 minutes.  

If heating on the stop top:

Finally, some of our clients enjoy heating their meals in a skillet.  To do this, heat your skillet at medium heat, then cook your ingredients for 2 to 3 minutes, moving often, and enjoy.

Can I pause or suspend my service and resume at a later date?

Yes! You can manage your account online -- cancelling, skipping deliveries or changing your order to suit your needs.  When you pause your order, it will take effect during the next weekly billing cycle.  You will be responsible to reactivate your service when you are ready and will start receiving meals again during your next weekly cycle.

Can I customize the number of days and number of meals/snacks I receive?

We currently offer meal plans for service 3, 4, 5 and 7 Days per week. You can choose 1, 2, or 3 meals per day, and add on as many snacks as you need.

If you have a special request to accommodate your specific needs, please call or email and we will do our best find a solution.

How do I update my plan?

Updating your plan is simple and you may do so at any time.

To do so, simply click on the Update Plan link under your account, select the plan you wish to update, and continue through the process.

When you update your plan, you will be cancelling and replacing your plan with a new one.  You'll also be required to re-enter your credit card information and agree to the terms of the plan because things may have changed.

 

Because we need to purchase and prepare food products in advance, we ask that you be willing to receive meals from your existing plan through the current week, and that you update your plan for the following week on or before Saturday at 10PM.

How do I pause a subscription?

Pausing your subscription is easy.  Simply click on the Pause Subscription link under your account settings. 

Your subscription will be immediately paused starting from the beginning of the next billing cycle through when you choose to resume your meal deliveries.

Because we need to purchase and prepare food products in advance, we ask that you pause your program on or before Saturday at 10PM for the following week.

How do I cancel my Subscription?

You may cancel our meal delivery services at any time for any reason.

However, because we need to purchase and prepare food products in advance, we ask that you cancel your program on or before Saturday at 10PM for the following week.

If there's anything we can do to keep you as a client, please let us know.  We're always looking for ways to improve.

How does your "refer a gym" program work?

When you refer a gym and they team up with us at PaleoZone to become one of our distribution hubs, we'll give you a coupon code charged with $699 in value redeemable towards any meal plan we offer.

We speak to the value being 1 month of food.  We arrived at this number utilizing our 3-4oz. per meal Natural 3x5 meal program.  This program affords you breakfast, lunch and dinner 5 days per week and the coupon code will cover you for greater than 4 weeks when meals are delivered to a participating gym.

If a gym is a group or a franchise and we end up working with more than one location, we maintain the right and discretion as to how many times you will be eligible to receive the benefit of this offer.

If referring more than one participating gym, it may be necessary for you to provide us with your tax information in advance of receiving your coupon.

We reserve the right to select to contact and work with the gym that you have suggested.  Not all gyms are appropriate for us to partner with.

To be eligible for the coupon code, you must suggest a gym.  Said gym must be willing to take a phone call from us, meet with us, schedule a tasting with its members and become a distribution hub for our meals.
